wheels info
Guys, for those of you who have upgraded to a 18 or 20 inch wheel, has any one had problems with the center hole fitting over the GM front brake rotor center hub or the rear axle hub??
I would like to use the following but I am leery of the measurements i have been getting I am measuring around 3.085 to 3.088 on the rear center axle hub https://www.summitracing.com/parts/are-50628006100 these state 3.080 what would be the right way to go? order these and do a skim cut on the ID of the center hole maybe 0.010 or take a die grinder and work the hubs a little and take them down a few thousands

Re: wheels info
I recently installed a lift, and went to 20" wheels. I did have trouble getting the fronts to fit over the Center hub, at least all the way to a seated position. I also contemplated machining our the center hole of each wheel, but decided to machine down the axle/hub housing instead for a few reasons, rotation of tires becomes a pain if you only machine two wheels to fit the front, most likely machining will ultimately damage whatever finish is on the wheels (mine are powder coated black) and finally eventually you will probably want to change wheels again and then your in the same boat. Just fix it right on the front end and be done with it.

Re: wheels info
did you ever measure them out? and did you have any issues on the rear?

Re: wheels info
It has been a year ago or so, so I don't remember exactly what I Mic'd them out at. I remember thinking oh its only a few thousands, surely they will fit: well they didn't. I did not have issues with the rear, but I did a 4 wheel disk brake conversion and the new rear rotors probably fixed that issue for me.

Re: wheels info
I found the wheels i wanted on Ebay, Summit had discontinued them. The center hub is 83.06 mm or 3.27 in. So I am good to go in regards to fitment.
