Yet another 4.3 swap question...
I have read a few different threads on here for the 4.3 swap in these trucks and have not seen any clear answers in terms of the engine mounts. I am considering doing this swap into my '69 C10 since i already have the engine that came as a spare with another project. The engine itself came out of a 2000 C1500 pickup (GMT800 body style). As far as i can tell from some of the pics in other threads they seemed to have moved the 350 frame mount back to match up with the 4.3.
The truck i am working with is a '69 Chevy C10 long box. It previously had a 350/TH350 at one point. 4:11 gearing in the rear diff. I figured the 4.3 with the 4L60E would make for a nice cruising rig. Either that or i may look at the idea of an NV3500 behind the V6. So really what are my options in terms of the frame mount set up to make it possible to run this engine?

Re: Yet another 4.3 swap question...
As fare as I know itf it had a 350 in it the 4.3 should just bolt right in.un less the gmt 800 blocks are different. Most people go the other way around.

Re: Yet another 4.3 swap question...
From what i had seen it seemed the 4.3 had its block bosses in a different location from the 350 but if that is not the case it would be nice.
