Re: vacuum pump for power brakes

I don't know your brake setup. I've done things listed above when running a big cam. Vacuum accumulators are a band aid at best. I've done a couple of hot rods with hydro boosts. They have worked very well. Also you may consider a manual brake cylinder. Properly designed/sized it will stop most vehicles quite nicely. It just takes more pressure on the pedal to stop. Over on LS1tech the go to brake guy is KORE3. I would give him a call if you considering a manual setup.
