Thumbs up GM Home link garage door opener

As the title states, GM 3 button home link garage door opener.

I just finished installing another one in my 67 Ramp truck.
Very simple to install and it will work up to 3 doors. 12v hot & a ground wire is all you need. I have them in the 71 C 10, Ramp truck and the 64 SS Impala.
You program it just like the manual in your GM car. Are do as I did look it up on the net.
Anyway here is a short video of the Ramp truck install I just finished. I cut the visor so it would sit better and it's a rat truck so it doesn't matter. I may later have it covered though.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Look for one pictured in the 67Ramp truck. It seems to be the easiest to use.I have the same one in my 71 inside the Ash tray and it works ok inside it. I cut it up before I realized it would fit.
I cut the visor up on the ramp truck to mount it.

Thumbs up Re: GM Home link garage door opener

Update on this cool mod and the mirror mod I did a while back! I have had both now for a couple of years and this will knock out to mods in one.
First 2 pictures are what I bought tonight.

The one I have now works but the range isn't that great since it's inside the ash tray. I bought this out of a Tahoe. I didn't know at the time they had them in mirrors in other makes.
Tonight I found a new mirror that has the Compass, Temp-Green Display and the home link 3 button in it. I will be swapping the mirror out once I get it. This should make the door opening much better.
With it being in the mirror it will double the range I hope.
