I still have the original windshield and gasket that came out of my '68, they used a heck of a lot more sealant that just the top corners.

I have a spare windshield that was pulled from a 69 longhorn back in 2000. It is marked "Safety Plate" by PPG (Pittsburgh Plate Glass) and it measured 0.260" with a mic at the top center so old glass was definitely at 1/4" or more thick.
Sorry for the pic, but the marking was not that great to begin with...

I have no idea what mediocre to decent old glass sells for. This one has some issues...

That's what I thought you were referring to, sorry for the confusion. This PPG glass is what I was talking about. I don't know what it would be valued at and I'm not 100% sure it's ready for a new home, but it will be in a few months if all goes well with the new replacement glass.
