AC Help Please
I have a 1985 GMC Sierra that had factory AC. The 305 original engine has been replaced by PO to a 1998 Silverado 350. I have the AC compressor and hoses from the previous 305 but will not mount correctly to the 350. What do I need to make this work? bracket from a 98 (these were serpentine belts) and the bracket also holds the power steering pump. Will a different bracket work? Or a different AC compressor? Thanks for any help.

Re: AC Help Please
If you are using the serpentine brackets from 98 motor you should have everything you need. You will need a new style serpentine AC compressor and hoses. The old one will not work on the reverse rotation setup. The AC spot is probably filled with an AC delete pulley right now that you'll need to remove and install the compressor there.
