Type 56 female terminals for Headlight connector
The Packard type 56 female terminal for the headlight is wider so the regular ones don't fit. anyone know where to get the wider ones for the headlights. I am rewiring the front harness and the only ones I don't have are those. the male studs coming off the headlights are .315 wide and regular type 56 studs are .250

You need 59 series terminal. Try auveco products #18690 0r #18651

The wider terminals (such as the ones used on the headlights) are known as 59 series terminals.
They're not as common as the narrower 56 series, but they are available through many sources that sell Packard / Delphi (now Aptiv) terminals & connectors. I'm pretty sure Mouser Electronics (www.mouser.com) has them. |
