The one that started it all
The one that started me out on owning GM trucks that is.
I don't slip over in this group all that much but I found a box of old slides out in the shed that I have been hunting this week while searching for something else and got them loaded on my computer. 67 longbed with small back window, 327 Automatic, Power steering, brakes and AC Bought in Texas in about 1973. That was the first of the list of Chevy trucks I have owned over the years. I'd say that the photo was the first week I owned it as the tire store I worked at only had two chrome wheels in stock and we had to order the other two in.

Ah ha!
Its a great hobby, never give, never give, and keep on truckin! We reap the benefit of reliable transportation by making something work that others have given up on. How goes the Caddy Transplant? That is going to be one pulling sun of a gun! |

I traded the truck for a 69 Barracuda fastback because I needed something my wife could drive. Not sure about the HD springs but it may well have had them. it was one of the most optioned out 67's I ever saw. I think they checked about every box on the list that didn't interfere with another box. Great running and driving truck that drank gas like a local bar fly at happy hour when someone else is paying.

Re: The one that started it all
Great picture. It's in great condition so it shows the truck like it was yesterday. Old photos are the best!!
* You people marry at a young age So did your brother marry the girl next door? (across the street?) Pretty neat as well
