Lighted cigarette lighter?
Ive never seen one of these in a truck before. Id buy one just to see how the work, but the prices on them are more than I want to pay just to satisfy my curiosity =)
If someone would show one that would be great. Where does the light come in, how its wired. I feel like a person could probably make one if they didn't care about original. I wont be running lighters anyway. I'm thinking Id rather have a USB charging port in that spot.

Re: Lighted cigarette lighter?
Vendors here sell them for a decent price. $20 if I remember correctly. GMC Paul's has them. The light turns on inside when you pull the lighter out. I need to buy one too just cause they're cool.

Re: Lighted cigarette lighter?
In image above on left side of cigarette lighter housing you'll notice a small rectangular box of metal, the bulb to illuminate is under that cover. When cigarette lighter element is removed from housing it triggers bulb to light so you can find opening in the dark to replace element. Paul Jr @ GMCPauls |
