I wanna see some prostreet longbeds as im building one myself and need some inspiration. Possible to build a road racing longbed? show me yours.

I don't own one but will see what pictures I have. You want pro-street,as in street legal drag race/NHRA-style,not road racer,as in circuit course/SCCA-style...right? You can do anything with a longbed that can be done with a shortbed. Now when it comes to hauling,a longbed can do more. Here's the best one I have

Just wanted to share.This is my friends it's a short bed though. He does all the tub work, shortens axels, and framework himself. He's built some mean pro street stuff when that style was a little more popular.

Pro street is drag racing, pro touring/autocross are the scca trucks. I thnk i have a pic of a prostreet.

72 LWB Custom Deluxe, has a .060" over 427 (440ci) 290 closed chamber heads, 12.5:1 domed slugs, Clay Smith solid cam, Howards EDM lifters, Comps Magnum Steel roller rockers and Magnum 80 rods, stainless valves, ARP head studs, mains, and rod bolts. Weiand Track Warrior single plane intake w/Carb Shop 750 cfm DP Holley.

wow can't believe this thread got bumped after I asked for pics years ago.
I no longer have my truck and had moved onto other projects which is complete but I really want to get back into the 67-72 era and move away from the Fuel injected crap. |
