Weather stripping help

Installed new weather stripping for my '69 Suburban. Replaced broken wind wing glass and rebuilt wind wing with new rivet kit. Replaced all weather stripping around window and can't get window up all the way. Gets to with-in 3 to 4" and starts binding up. Appears that channel that supports wind wing is the problem. Can't see anything other than new channel material is too thick? I can get it closed by cranking and reaching inside door to push from bottom. When I installed new fuzzies it was worse. I've walked away to work on other things before I did something stupid. Help

I don't know if this will help you or not. Very good thread on door assembly. Maybe there is something in there about wing window fitment that could help. No difference in truck doors vs burb doors except for the rounded vs squared off portion on the glass.

I too fought this problem on my windows. I figured out it was important to leave all the bolts that hold the tracks loose, then roll then window up snug the bolts. Then roll the window up and down several more times and maybe readjust if it was still snug. I also pulled one of my wing windows back out just to be sure nothing was trapped behind it. Then I used soap around the outside of the seal when I reinstalled it to make sure it would slide completely into place.
