Air Compressor

I was not sure where to post this, but I have a 79 stepside Sport and can't work on it because my compressor is down. I have a sanborn dual piston 60 gal. compressor. I need some help. Air is leaking out of my unloaded valve.

I blew a head gasket and replaced that then this leaked. Replaced it. Still leaked. Replaced the whole switch. Still leaks. Had to be in the head. Seems like new pumps and heads only have a single outlet and not two. What are my options?

Re: Air Compressor

I have a pretty old compressor, from the late 70s/early 80s (Excel). The compressor acted like yours and when I found I couldn't get any parts reasonably, I just went to Harbor freight and got thier 5 HP compressor and mounted it to my system. I hade to redo the mounting holes and had I hose I had to get made. 10 years later she is running strong.
