Bikini Top ? any ideas without a roll/show bar for a

Just took my top off at the 70 blazer after 50 years ... I thought I heard the blazer say "whew my aching back".( rim shot) but seroiusly folks
anyone have a bikini top idea that works on one without A ROLL BAR/. I live in an area that the weatherman is wrong 50 percent o the time predicting no rain

I wonder if a local shop that upholsters boats may be helpful w ideas.

what about pvc pipes? with some setup that can bolt in and out easily? thoughts?

I wouldn't try PVC - there's too much flex. Maybe some aluminum. And you'll need a method of having a solid mount. You can do that by fabricating a base that uses the top mounting holes on the bedside.

I have something like this planned for that purpose... minus the louvers and bottom bar, of course.

A lot of pick up trucks now are offered a bed side roll bar, sorry, don't know the official name, but I imagined these as a perfect platform for a bikini top

I thought a spoiler flying wing like this would make a cool rear mount for bimini top.

Gonna try an adjustable surfboard rack that screws into the side rails and is adjustable in width and height. Will put it in and get a jeep bikini top. Good part is it’s adjustable in width to fit any bed. No welding just screws with clamps into the side rails and has an adjustable top to go up and down for the bikini top Here’s the link. I will post pictures when I put it in unless I’m missing something this should work as a roll bar replacement just for a bikini top
