Fire wall question
Hello everyone, I noticed this the other day. The fire wall on my 68 c20 is different from the 67 c10. Just wondering if there might have been changes between the years.
The 68 c20 I had been restored by another person but the 67 c10 is pretty much all original. Was the firewall changed at some point in the 68 or are they different year? Here are some pics, the 68 is clean, the 67 isn’t. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Fire wall question
The clean firewall has been shaved and an aftermarket heat/ac unit installed on the 68. The 67 is original.

Re: Fire wall question
The 67 and 68 are original in that area your mentioning. The 68 got a firewall change there because of the big block being introduced that year for valve cover clearance.
