ac condenser diff???

building my a/c system on my LS1 swap. using a sanden a/c compressor and going to use my old system as much as possible . I am at the point of buying the condenser. Is there a difference in the condensers between the two Freon systems?

Original R12 condensers were generally serpentine style meaning they were one long tube that curved back and forth. Newer, R134a condensers are tube and fin meaning that a lot more rows can be packed into a given area. The tube and fin style will work much better with the R134a.
