Re: 1969 a/c compressor

A look at that alt bracket it has a 73 87 set acc brackets
My 69 had the ac on the pass side
That would be why the long over the rad hoses
67 72 small blocks had alt on drivers side

I would guess and say the compressor is from the square body that donated its engine

Re: 1969 a/c compressor

Does the AC work? That compressor is designed to run in a Cycling Clutch Orifice Tube (CCOT) system, and you appear to have the POA valve on the AC box. Or has the system been updated to match the compressor?

Thumbs up Re: 1969 a/c compressor

The compressor is a late model one. It's not the factory compressor although it is a Chevy one.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
