Did you have to cut the frame to install your Boyds sidefill fuel tank?
I am wondering if those who have purchased a side fill Boyds fuel tank if you had to cut the frame in order to run fuel fill tube from the tank on a 1967-1972 Chevy C10.

I'm going to say no, but I have not installed mine yet. I didn't see where it would be a problem though, just holding it up in place.

Mines installed but not hooked up yet. I have alot of room for the hose.

I notched my frame top rail just enough to give a 3/8" clearance around the filler neck. I wanted to make sure the filler hose would not run against the frame rail and leak.
