Under dash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
Looking at vintage air, old air products, classic auto air and several other heat/ac kits for my 72 C 10. Really wanting to see if i can get some pictures posted of what different ac units look like under the dash and what brand they are. Some look like they will hang down real low . Any pics would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Under sdash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
Ditto - I'd like to know if any of them are actual OEM style - seems you can buy all the OEM parts, so by adding the holes in the dash, I would think you could have an OEM install -

Re: Under sdash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
I'm planning on installing a under dash unit also in my 67 Ramp truck at some point.
This is the one I plan to use if I can't find a old GM unit. https://www.oldairproducts.com/produ...inside-package Here are a couple of links on under dash unit's. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=457137 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...light=harrison

Re: Under sdash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
Hey everyone, dragging this back up to see if I can get some more pictures.
I'm racking my brain over spending money. I simply have to have air conditioning or I just cannot drive during the summer. Would anyone be kind enough to post some pictures of under the dash units? Also has anyone heard of this company? https://nostalgicac.com/1967-1972-ch...-c-system.html

Re: Under sdash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
I ended up with this unit out of a Impala. I'm in the process of restoring it to go in the ramp truck by next summer I hope.

Re: Under sdash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
I installed Old Air with the under dash vents as I didn't want to cut up the dash. They work well for getting the cold air where you want it. With Old Air, I still have a usable glove box.

Re: Under sdash aftermarket air conditioning pictures
I just purchased from nolgistic air. That would be the top picture in my post above.
Went with the under dash unit. They say it actually gets colder than having the evaporator under the hood. They called me, per request and were super nice. Guy said his family purchased the business back in 13 and have been working hard to re establish the company name. Kit with the pulleys and brackets, hoses and everything came to about $1200. Its gonna cost me a little more to have it charged. I dont have a vacuum pump. Largest dollar part of my build except for the engine rebuild. I'll post up pictures when I get it going
