dogleg
Lot's of folks have told me that when I give it some gas, the Fox doglegs to one side pretty bad. I drive it all the time, so I guess I don't notice. Everyone that has followed me somewhere has said this. Why is this? What's the remedy? Do I need bshings somewhere or a swaybar? I've alwyas had folks say this, be for and after the new 3/4 ton 4" Superlift springs and shocks.

Well these truck track 3 inches narow in the rear and it does apear to Dog leg when it's not.
Best way to be sure is a 4 wheel alignment. DYI break out the tape measure and start cross measuring from say the right front pring purch to the the left rear and then the other side and see if it's square. Measure the leaf springs from fixed mount to the spring pin. Some spring can be installed backwards and the spring pin be in the worng place.

You can drive across wet pavement onto dry keeping your truck going straight. Then look at the tire prints to see if they are in line.

You could have a spring eye bolt broke.

With the front end wider then the rear, anyone driving behind you will think it is out of alignment.
Most common cause of alignment out is a leaf spring alignment center pin breaking off and that allows an axel to shift but you would know this from driving it. My bet is it's ok but an alignment check would tell for sure. |

Thanks, all. It drives straigt and true. I've had it aligned a time or two with no problems. Some have said the torque from my Stroker and having an open diff will squat one side a bit when I accelerate, giving it the dogleg.
