f/s 700r/241 xcase setup
anyone wanting to get better gas milage out of one of our older trucks/blazer here you go.
700r with a 241 xcase out of a 90 full size blazer,the po of the setup done a body swap and used a 350/203 setup instead,but he thought the tranny needed rebulit,asking 200.00 sorry no shipping. jamie

Jamie72, What year does that X case start in, Ive seen them in suburbans, their much beefier, and Ive heard the 89 newer are the prefered units, any truth to this?

im not really sure on the xcases,not sure on them being beefer,i thought they were the same in burbs,only real weakness is the aluminum case,but the pefered 700r i belive is the 86 and up.

It appeared the case was much thicker, maybe I'm wrong, a buddy of mine buy's every one he see's
