Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
I'm not sure this is still an active thread, and am getting into this late, but I really like the looks of this 67 fleetside. Can anyone tell me the rim and tire sizes? Quessing 10 " wide on the rear and 8" on the front. But are they 15 rims or bigger? And what about tire sizes? This truck's my screen saver, I'd like to know more. Thanks David

Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
Hey guys. Sorry i havnt posted much lately. I've been busy with other things life throws at you. But Ive been gathering parts and the build will continue soon. Good things coming soon. As for the wheel size. I currently have the truck at my best friends house which is where the build will take place. I'm going over this weekend so I'll take a look and get you guys some accurate numbers.

Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
whats up guys, i havnt been on here in a while. I put the build on the back burner for a while but lately ive put in a few orders with my pal Travis over at AZ Pro Performance.. Im ready to place my brakes order but im on the fence about what color calipers to get. Here is how im thinking, black calipers wont stand out as much but not sure how the red ones will look with my color combo.. I think the reds are a bit modern looking and will clash a little with the nostalgic 503 green color.. Whats your take on this ??

Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
Truck looks killer. I think Black would look best with the 503 green.

Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
What’s up guys. It’s sure has been a while.. this project has been on hold for quite some time. I’ve had the truck at a friends house for almost 4 years now. Last time I drove the truck, I went over to his place and we put in the PS. I drove the truck down the street for a test drive and it’s been parked since. Life has gotten in the way of getting the build going again. Since then I’ve gathered quite a list of goodies from all the PB frame stuff, Bear Brakes, Accuair, and so much more
I had also picked up an LS3 but ended up selling it to a friend. I’m in the market for another LS engine now. Looks like I’m going to bring the truck home soon to start taking it apart. And putting the frame together. I’ll be at the Daytona Rod Run this weekend. If anyone is going to be out there hit me up on IG: Mandy1202 Nice to be back.. I’ve been following along on the trucks and builds on IG and FB Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
hey guys, hope everyone is doing ok during these difficult times.. bringing this build back to life and getting everyone up to speed here.
I've had my truck at a friends place for the past 5 years +.. he has a big shop at home with a lift and plenty of room. We've built a few cars and trucks there through the years but this time life got in the way not allowing us to get back in the shop.. its a 45 min drive one way from my place to his, finding the time was almost impossible between family and work. During this time Ive gathered all kinds of parts. I thought of parting with the truck several times but i kept convincing myself that id get to it someday.. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago...... I decided i was going to bring the truck home and and start working on it. here is the progress for the past 2 weeks.. |

Re: South FL 67' Build Thread
I always move them from my phone to my laptop & then load the pics from there after editing to the recommended size for the site (since it's hosting).
It takes extra steps but it also allows me to edit any pics that want to flip.
