Looking for Parts
I posted a few days ago and do feel welcome so Thank You. I will be in the need of some parts as soon as I get the truck moving. What does anyone have to say about reskinning doors. Is it easier to reskin doors or should I just go with used 72 doors? It seems as if there may be a shortage of good used doors. Any opinions are welcome

My opinion is to find a nice set of used doors. You will probably be money ahead in the long run.

Thats what I was thinking too. Does anyone know if any 67-72 doors will fit?

67-72 doors are interchangeable.... The only difference is that the '72 doors have a screw on the inside just below the vent window, and '72 has a different style door panel. I've heard that the screw in the '72 doors makes the door better/stronger in some way. Does anyone know the exact purpose of that screw?

I think 72 has a different window regulator to. The shaft is longer for the thicker door panel.
