Scoti, thanks for the tip. Though here in California, our junkyards are harder and harder to find.

I need to pick up a shop manual that includes the wiring diagrams.

I am assuming that my truck's main wiring harness should be PW/PL ready and that GM didn't have different P/Ns for different trim levels.

Seems to me that the factory ones should "fit" correctly but then GM didn't always have the best ideas...
