they have 4 tabs on them that look like you should just bend em out after they are inside the lens
i wanna make sure they don't fall out

mine had the four tabs and the instructions said to just bend them out to hold the dots in. they seem to be pretty secure like that and they are still in the lens. so it must work pretty good. good luck.

Thumbs up

Try some clear silicone around the inside? That would also help to seal against moisture.

last set i installed i just twisted the tabs, instead of just bending them that way you got something to hold in the lens in the holding ring and the ring to the lens.
good luck

They are little blue lenses that are added to the tail lights. When the brake lights are lit up they will make the lights look somewhat purple. I have an uninstalled set but my digi-cam is at the wife's work.

Yeah, plenty of states have made them illegal.
You do't want to use crazy glue.super glue on plastic lenses, it'll fog them up REAL bad.

When I did the install, I bent the tabs and put a couple small dabs of contact cement on the sides of the bezel. Worked great!! and they looks very cool I don't have any pics of what they look like with the lights on

Depending on what state you're in.
Here in Ohio, motor Cycles can have the blue dots.
In Nevada (I think it's nevada) they reversed the no blue dot law a few years ago, and you can run them on anything.

The thing is I think most cops look for guys with imports now, so they leave us alone. Most of our trucks are driven by older guys

I dont care if you been using them for fifty years A blue rearward facing light is illegal I have the 175 dollar ticket to prove it.

I thought about how some mini trucks have orange turn signals as well as many cars But i know for a fact that blue is I used to have blue reverse lights and They came on by a switch wich i sometimes forgot to turn off.
