Talking Any Yak owners in here?

Looks like I might be buying a 2007 Kodiak

Never owned one, much less any kind of Diesel,
any advice other than throwing lots of $ at her?

Likes, dislikes, would you own again, or no way?

Technically a C4500 doesn't fit in this group, it
was only posted here since it's a 2007 model.

*Mods please move if this isn't the right group.

Not sure what section fits Craig. You might find a few more bites in the Heavy Haulers section. I know nothing othere that they are big.

Re: Any Yak owners in here?

I'd say that the heavy hauler section would be the place to be for a Kodiak.

An 07 should have the LBZ Duramax, which is one wicked setup. One of if not THE most sought after Duramaxes, hands down the best "pre-emissions" Duramaxes.

Re: Any Yak owners in here?

My bucket truck at work is an 07 kodiak. My girlfriend had an 07 2500hd with same LBZ diesel tuned and somewhat built and it ran very strong. The stock work truck is doggy, but it does weigh about 8 ton. It had 24,000 miles on it when I started driving it in 2018 and I know the injectors needed replaced. Other than that, no problems and has 45,000 on it now.
