I'd say pick the look you want and go with it.....I'd go big window.....sun wouldn't be an issue for me....mainly because i would tint it....

as for small window visability issues, I drive a full size van with 0 visability through the back for work, I even took the rear view mirror off. Just get the right kind of side mirrors and set em up properly....

well if some are going to go against the grain i'm going to join them.
my vote is the neather.
why not make a custom window opening. a big chevy logo or a narrow but wide window. the options are limitless as long as you can weld. hell weld some portholes in the back of it, if thats what you want. remember it's your truck and it may come with instructions but that doesn't mean you have to follow them.
