Will 1999 rearend fit on my 68
Sorry, I didn't have time to research, it is being given away free. My current rear-end is geared too high, all the power is on the top end. This posi track is 737 ratio off an suv, thx

it's probably over 3" wider minimum. 71-87 length housings increased by 1.5". 88-98 (GMT400) housings increased again by 1.5". Seems I recall the track width increased for the next generation GMT800's as well.
That being said, anything can be modified to 'fit'. It just depends on what the application is.

If it’s free why are you asking?? What’s the harm in picking it up and seeing if you want to go thru with it. Width aside you’ll have to strip the perches and shock mounts off the axle and the re weld new perches and shock mounts once you get the pinion angle set. It’s not very hard.
