Factory Style Lug Nuts
What type of lug nuts were used from the factory on 1971 C/10's with factory steel wheels? Are they something that would be readily available at a parts store or would I need to order online?
I'm using conversion axles on the rear of my 1970 and according to this thread, http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=564907, I need to use Dorman wheel studs, part number 610-298.1. Would they be correct to use with factory 5-lug 4-nub steel wheels? |

Re: Factory Style Lug Nuts
I'm pretty sure they are 1/2x20 nuts.
Aimco number 5516 Wheel stud size is 1/2"- 20 Rotor size: Heavy duty type, 1.250" thick 12.00" diameter 5 x 5" bolt pattern Yes they are a standard size that all parts store should have in stock. Even the chrome ones to dress up the wheel a bit. https://www.performanceonline.com/19...bolt%20pattern
