spare tire mount
hey can anyone take a picture of there spare tire mount? mainly the bolt at the end that the bar that the tire is on piviots on. mine broke off in half and im wondering if its long enough to reuse.

if you have a skinny enough tire... mine could barely hold a 235-75r15.

Spare tire mount
Here is a picture of my 78 k-10. I have about 1-1/2" to 2" of the bolt above the bracket. The bolt is still available from GM and is about $10-15, I think. I can't find my invoice.

Spare tire mount
Here is a picture of the spare tire mount on my 78 k-10. The bolt has about 1 1/2" to 2" about the bracket on the frame. The bolt is still available from GM (P/N: 371065) and is about $10-15. Hope this helps
