Re: 1967 C20 long bed update
Looking good, I aspire to finish my interior in a similar way. Quick question, I have the same year/interior color and green dash pad. Did you find that your upper dash was painted a darker metallic green (to match the dashpad) than the rest of the interior? Mine has what appears to be original paint (with authentic runs), and has this two tone dash paint.

Re: 1967 C20 long bed update
Truck looks great . Wish they had used the pods on mine but they cut the dash, they did a nice job but it's still a cut dash . Where did you get those ?

Re: 1967 C20 long bed update
The pods are with these component speakers to anyone interested, i just painted them to match the interior and used some adhesion promoter on them and it came out good..
https://www.amazon.com/Morel-Maximo-.../dp/B07229M6R7 the upper dash i believe was different in that its matte from the factory, mine was, and mine was original.. Same paint code at least on mine.. i wonder if all the dash pads were that dark green on these, i thought it was original but i dont know.. I really did try to get the interior and the workings of the truck as clean as i could and leave the paint rustic, which is being optimistic, its very very rustic.. Thanks all, and FYI i just finally started it today, its running and its smooooth, not like the straight six was, a different feel.. Only issue now is a fuse for the dome and taillights that is sometimes on sometimes not no matter what i do.. |
