Water leak
Hey guys, I have been battling a water leak under my dash on my 67 k10. Had the windshield out new gasket and glass , had it in the glass shop twice. I can't find where it is getting in. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and has any suggestions. Thanks!

Re: Water leak
Check along the body seam inside the cowl, or it could even start in your drip rail above the windshield, then channel down the A-pillar.

Re: Water leak
Per the GM shop manual you should put sealer at each top corner and extend it out at least 6" so it gets that seem in the top. May not fix it but it's a start. The dash if you look has holes in the area around the bottom of the glass. Water comes in at the top and comes down the windshield sides then out at the curve at the bottom and drips through the holes in the dash.

Re: Water leak
is it leaking only on one side?
Are you sure there is no anti freeze in it (heater core leak)? There is a seam under the cowl about 10" from the edge of the truck on both sides. They do rust there a lot esp if it was ever clogged up. |

Re: Water leak
Check the wiper motor seal. I chased a leak and found mine bad.
