Maybe a little too far away, but I just took some pics of one for a good friend of mine's son this evening of a buggy that he wants to sell. Nice lookin' buggy, but he has decided that staying in college is more importent than playing in the sand at this time. I have not even loaded the pics to the puter yet, but will shortly. I told him I would post some on this board anyway, so they will be on the Gen. Disc. side in a little while. Oh, and it is buggy/trailer combo.

Damn, that looks nice, I've wanted a road legal one of those ever since I saw the Mad Max films back in the 80's, we just don't have the waether for them over here or the places to play with them.

Looks close to street legal for East TN You don't need much here, I don't think. I just saw one similar to that on the road yesterday.

Interesting subject...My brother who is a fabriacator and long time VW fan bought a trashed buggy with the VW pan and fiberglass body. After a year he has a street legal fiberglass covered tube chasis like the rail at the begining of this post that is covered by the original fiberglass body. He has extended the suspension and has up to 14" of travel out back. He can drive it to the sand on the road, use his turning brakes, catch some air and dirve it home. Pretty neat setup.
