rearend in my truck
I decided not to go with a Ford 9". I was going to change this out so that I can go with 4 30 gears. Decided to stay with the 12 bolt, and go with 4 56 gears instead. I am going to pull the rearend out of the truck next week. I also am going to get it shortened. Going to cut it down to 61" so that my tires that I am going with will fit up under the fender wells. Going to go with Ford 9" axle tubes, to elimate the c clips. I believe this will be better then the 9", due to not having to weld brackets to the 9". I can't wait.

if you're doing that work you're still going to have to weld brackets on the new tubes right??? sounds like alot more work !! i'd think you'd be better off with the 9inch and i'd be less work for a stronger rearend
