Those are factory , I took mine off just to give BB a softer ride ,I was hoping to get the rear down a bit but it only lowered it about the thickness of the spring.

when you take them out is there a hole in the leaf above it to line up with the pin? so everything is plum? how does that work, sounds like i should take mine out too, its pretty rough going over speed bumps even at a slow speed, and if it lowers the truck a half inch or so thats good too

I have 5 in the rear of my blazer....is that factory?? I don't think the original owner would have added anything like that, but I guess you never know. My blazer sure does ride a little stiff. Any ideas?

You'd probably be better off removing the spring above the overload, if you want to remove some stiffness.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |
