Throttle linkage 2 Barrel Carb

Truck - 67 c20 283ci in the i6 position.

The throttle linkage angle seem to me a little off. I just recently swapped the v8 in place of a i6.
Will the i6 linkage work on a 2 bbl v8 set up?

The See pictures below. sorry for the picture angle..

Thank you,
Grant

That looks similar to my 68 327ci setup. I just switched to the throttle cable setup from a 71-72. If you need a spare I can post it in the parts board.

Can you or anyone post a pic of your set up?

Re: Throttle linkage 2 Barrel Carb

Can you switch the throttle linkage to the inside of the bracket in the rear?

Currently you have it on the outside position in the rear.

You can also make an adapter plate, use the 2 pivot holes to attach, then add new holes in your adapter for throttle linkage. You can level out the rod better with a longer piece. Same process if you add an auto trans and need cable hook up like photo.

Re: Throttle linkage 2 Barrel Carb

Get rid of the "death linkage " and switch to cable .
