Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed

Last weekend, I finally got around to replacing the windshield. I also ended up buying new back glass and doing away with the slider. I like it a lot better. The glass came from Auto City Classics and is the gray version.

I really like the solid back glass. Looks great.

Damn, Like others i just complete the entire thread and what a journey! I know it was costly, BUT the memories you and his Papa made are priceless. I promise he will never forget it.
God Bless you and Papa for taking the time to spend with him on this. Also, God Bless your son, drive it, have fun and enjoy this beautiful work of art!!!

Thank you. It's a late-model Toyota pickup color called Cavalry Blue.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed

Last weekend, the son and I threw a bra on the truck and headed south to Scottsdale for Goodguys. The truck made the 14 hour round trip without any issues. We picked up a few rock chips on the new windshield but it was totally worth it.

Not a bad haul . A couple initial rock & roll marks for that long of a trip is not bad @ all. Glad it went well.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed

Just a brief update on the boy's truck. He's been driving it intermittently as weather permits. No issues or concerns. I backed it out on Saturday and cleaned it up and decided to snap a few pics.
