Floor shift conversion
I have a 67' C10 250i6 with a 3 on the tree. I would like to convert it to a floor shift. I also have a 4.8L vortec out of a 99'. Which engine would work better for this, and what transmission options would I have? It is currently a long box, and I already have to replace most of the floor. What else does a simpleton like me have to consider?

Re: Floor shift conversion
To convert a 3 OTT to 3 on the floor, you need the correct floor shifter with linkage, and then cut a hole in the floor. Fairly simple.

Re: Floor shift conversion
Yup! Simple but only 450 bucks for a shifter and linkages.
