express windows /modules
Adding relays to speed up the windows and then going one step further to add express up/down is a great mod, to me.
I know there are multiple threads on this subject and Gmachinz seemed to have the goods with his harnesses and modules. I know a few members had issues with him and he has since been banned from the forum. My question is, has anyone attempted to do the express up/down setup on their own? Did anyone purchase his harness w/ express up/down? Lastly, has anyone identified the express modules he used? (pic attached) He called them "solid state modules" but I cannot seem to find this item on line. I'm aware of the autoloc setup but I've heard/read mixed reviews. thanks in advance |

Re: express windows /modules
I have the kit from Gmachinz. I searched the part number for the relay / down module and it was for a 1997 Buick. I may still have the part number somewhere. I just bought another kit from him for a friend’s Blazer and it looks like a different part that he is using now. I bought the first kit from him years ago.

Re: express windows /modules
I got the LMC relay kit and it works OK - not as fast as a new truck but much faster than what I had. . I am not in a big enough hurry to go the express down route. I did get a replacement switch harness from LMC and it was not very good (arced out and blew the fusible link) but I did get it to work eventually and wrapped it up with electrical tape.

Re: express windows /modules
You could try the GM's 2008 up 2017 with express up/down option, Cruze, SILVERADO, CAMARO,MALIBU,TAHOE,EQUINOX, you will have to look at ones with high options and more... .
your mostly going to need two if you have a reg. Truck or four if you have a SUBURBAN style. You could go with aftermarket one I think they are re-tag GM or other big company re-tagged.

My original kit I got from him in 2013 has this one from a 1996-1999 Buick or Oldsmobile. GM #25614182. https://www.ebay.com/itm/32457891740...SABEgKCRPD_BwE
