Red Vinyl Trim Seat

I have searched all over and coming up empty. I am looking for a vendor or place that might sell the Red Vinyl seat cover that came in a 68 K20. I know I can go through SMS Fabric and get the fabric or have them make it. Thought maybe there was a supplier of this style of seat somewhere out there on the inter-web. If not I will go with the next closet thing, just trying to spruce it up a bit before it goes on the market. Thanks for any help possible.

Re: Red Vinyl Trim Seat

That looks like red "comfort weave " material it was used in Mustang interiors and has been discontinued for a long time . Probably because it lasted forever and really was comfortable to sit on . I'm pretty sure it wasn't used in Chevy trucks , SMS still carries it and the seat you pictured looks to be after market interior shop made . order some material and have a new cover made at your local interior shop .

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I better dig deeper to see what seat cover was supposed to be in a 68 GMC K20 with Red Vinyl trim. Maybe there is something out there that is the proper seat cover.

Re: Red Vinyl Trim Seat

Here are two pictures I found in my search through other threads. Can someone verify that both or one of these is a correct seat cover for a 68 GMC. Most vendors I looked at do not have a specific seat cover for 68.

Re: Red Vinyl Trim Seat

The top seat was the exact cover that was in my original 67. Not sure if it was carried over for 68.
