Which supplier is best?
Which supplier do you guys (or gals) recommend. Im mainly concerned with replacement body panels and trim moulding. Goodmark has front fenders for $20 less than Classic Industries, but their radiator supports are much higher than Classic's. Is this a "get what you pay for" deal? What may vary between them? Different gauge sheet metal, fit, some stampings more "crisp" than others Any companies out there to avoid altogether. Someone please enlighten me on this before i start ordering parts. Thanks!!

It's hard to tell quality by price along, especially with regard to Goodmark. I recently bought trim from one of the advertised dearlers on the board that was a good deal cheaper than what Goodmark listed on their web site. The funny part is the trim I bought from the dearler was shipped to me direct from Goodmark. Evidently, dealers can get a discount on the stuff and then they can pass that savings to us. Some even give discounts to board members.

I have split my purchases between GMC Pauls and Wes' Classic Heartbeat. Good pricing, they know their trucks, are very helpful, they are honest, plus they actually own and drive 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks. But I also know there are other great dealers to work with and we should also give them our support. Competition is good for owners and dealers. On the other hand there is a Florida Dealer I would not suggest to any one because he was dishonest in his dealings with me twice. I won't give Mr. D's name out...My experience was I wanted a good used Jr West Coast mirror...I emailed him and he said yes he has those avaliable for $?...so I said I would buy one from him...he shipped me brackets and when I called Mr D he said the mirrors were extra even though in my conversations and emails it was clear he priced me a complete mirror...So all I can say is he put a price on his integety. Enough said.
