Tie rod end help

Hey Guys,

I've got a 69 C10, still got factory 69 Crossmember, have 73-87 upper and lower control arms. I assume the spindles are 73-87 too. Just wondering what tie rod ends I need to get or if there is a way to figure out what's currently being used?

Any help much appreciated

Cheers

Re: Tie rod end help

Researching & determining the tie-rod tapers for comparison might help ID what the parts combo is. Most likely it has 71-87 outers if it has disc brakes.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Tie rod end help

It is my understanding, that the 71-72 c-10s have the same lower ball joint, as 73-87. They do however have a different taper on the upper ball joint, & outer tie rod end.....if using 73-87 spindles. Longhorn
