I want to thank CG.
A while back CG and I advertised WTB for 72 Suburban rear woodgrain door panels, pretty much at the same time.
I wasn't even aware of CG's ad, but he saw mine. Unbeknownst to me, Tim Christian contacted CG about some NOS panels he had. CG contacted me and confirmed that I, indeed, needed the panels for a build and passed the panels on to me. It makes me proud to known that is the kind of people we have on this board. Thanks Mark and Tim.

Re: I want to thank CG.
He's got good scruples and beyond. He is also very generous. My dad, a WWII combat veteran, would always say about greedy grabby me first types, "I wouldn't want to be stuck in a bomb shelter with him". CG would be one you would hope to be stuck in one with.

Re: I want to thank CG.
Hey guys thanks much, this board really means a lot to me. I have met a ton of board members IRL, and have spoken to even more board members via the ol phone. I appreciate all of you that share your knowledge on these trucks, and the all around good sense humor that abounds here. All of that and more makes it a "place" I like to hang out at.
BTW I really like talking with you folks that talk kinda funny, "y'all" are awesome haha!

Re: I want to thank CG.
I hear you on accents. Any accent at all. I don't look at where people are from and put an accent to it. Not everyone has one anyway. It's all the same here, until you talk to somebody.
About the great guy thing. Thanks to your generosity I proudly possess a great '68 GMC grille from a cool truck I always liked that not only belonged to you but another great guy, Livrat. I followed that truck here for years because I wanted that grille. Hahah, first part's true. Thanks for the grille!

Re: I want to thank CG.
Hope so! No promises but I've got an itch to get out your way for a visit I'd like to scratch.

Re: I want to thank CG.
I haven't dealt with CG on any parts. But, I have read a lot of his posts and he seems like he's a great person...
