battery cable to starter- I'm missing a screw (hole)
hi
1972 gmc 350 I removed the old positive battery cable from what I thought was the starter last night in the dark. I removed a bolt to release the cable. Trying to attach the new cable but I cant find the stupid screw hole that the cable was attached to. The starter solenoid? So tempted to attached it to the starter bolt (with a nut) as attached but I took a bolt out last night? https://imgur.com/a/2lRGSEp Last edited by michaely31; 08-10-2021 at 03:16 PM. The main positive cable fastens to a large stud on the starter solenoid and there is a nut that holds it on.... LockDoc

On adding a picture;
Sometimes you have to go to advanced to get the add a picture option. After clicking the advance option below the dialog box you type into I use the paper clip, to attach a file. If I am using an image from my computer. I don't find the url (insert image) icon useful at all. Once you click on the advanced option that is the option that comes up first. https may be the culprit in your case. Try a picture with just the http (no S). Rick |
