Most of ryobi stuff is ok. The hammer drill in question is so bad its ridiculous. Whats worse is Home Depot trying to ignore how bad these are by altering/deleting reviews. Its almost like they think they are democrats.

Too late now. The POS is back in HD hands. They actually marked it "POS" (spelled out) as reason for return. Apparently returns are common yet they will not admit there's a problem. Look for them on garage sale tables along with broken "veg-o-matics" and other discarded junk.

Older Milwaukee stuff is the way to go. Even some of their newer products are lacking a bit in my opinion.

The Rigid impacts (higher end ones) are pretty impressive though.
