WTB 12 bolt rear housing

Hey all prefer local if possible I'm needing the wider 2wd 1971 1972 rear end. I really only need the housing but anything will be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Re: WTB 12 bolt rear housing

Unfortunately pretty quickly. I just confirmed I have an issue with mine I recently swapped. I'm planning on going to Cruisin the Coast in about a month so I am trying to swap it out. I have all the internals and new axles.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: WTB 12 bolt rear housing

I assume you need a coil spring rear axle?
Don’t discount a 1970 housing.
Some of them are the like the wider 71-72 version except with 6-lug axles.

Re: WTB 12 bolt rear housing

Thanks Keith, you are correct I wasn't sure exactly when the cutoff was. Yes it is coil spring setup but I will probably need to remove the brackets anyway to get my pinion set correctly. I had to do that on what is in there now.
Dieselwrencher, thank you I have put my feelers out here locally so I don't need to travel or ship and have a guy I need to call this morning as I believe he also has a couple to choose from. I will post in this thread and drop you a note when I have spoken to this local guy.
Again thanks all as this problem just reared its head and now I need to fix it...

Re: WTB 12 bolt rear housing

Thank you all for your help and input. I have found one locally. I will tear into it this weekend and make sure it will work.
I didn't have many contacts for parts around here so I was concerned I might not find anything.
Thanks,
Dave
