truck is all fixed still problems

i just did a transmission, transfer case, front axle and rear axle swap and it all went good. except my speedo is way way off i had it pegged out at 100 and it felt like 50 or 60 ish. that is with tires that are only about 30 inches when i put the 33's back on it should be closer but not exact. the 2nd problem really bothers me. somehow my steering wheel is upside down. i have full turning abilitys and it drives straight and everything. can i pop the steering wheel off and put it on straight or do i have to go under there again and tighten this and loosen that. how hard is it to take off the steering wheel? is it splined to go on only 1 way?
i have to fix the steering wheel i cant stand it. as for the speedo can i put in a different box thing off another transfer case to fix that or what?

thanks
stan

You can rotate the wheel at the rag joint 180 degrees I believe. Couple of bolts.

stan what gears did you have? Sounds like 3.08s you would have been off by about 50%. Agree with Randy easier to rotate at the rag joint. But with a good puller the steering wheels do come off easy. Your going to want something taller than 33s. I'm running 35s w/ 4.56s and top out at about 60 on the highway.

yep it was 3.08

with 4.56 its like a whole new truck. i know i need bigger tires but that means i need lift as well. im looking at some 36x13.50 iroks, and a 4 inch lift when the money gets right. its more of a toy than a daily driver so im not worried about gas milage. i get more smiles a gallon now. thanks ill try the rag joint that does sound easier i dont know why i didnt think of it.

thanks

With 4.56's the 36" tires will be a lot more friendly. I'm running 35's and I have 4.10's and its just about right.

that rag joint was the way to do it. it took about 10 minutes and now my steering wheel is pretty straight its a little off but i can live with it. now all i need is a 4 inch suspension lift and some 35x15 boggers for 100 or less and im in.

thanks
