Help Decoding VIN

Hi... Wondering if anyone can help me decode the VIN on this truck. It is OC412N123870. I believe it is a 1960 but that's all I know. Trying to help a friend out. Thanks!

Re: Help Decoding VIN

"The Rocknrod"... OK, so at least I'm not the only one that's stumped. I think the C is for two wheel drive (C Series) but the 412 I can't figure out. Thanks

Re: Help Decoding VIN

Have your buddy/or you check out this site at GM Heritage:
https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf

On page 7 it shows Designation “OC412…” as Series C4102 then you can look at page 11 & 25 for load capacity, weight distribution, etc. Should help get some facts about it. Thanks for the photo it looks like an interesting build!
