What Rim Offset?

I am going to buy new rims and tires, and am wondering what the best offset on the rims should be, to have the best fit with no rubbing. The rims will be 10 inch wide with either 33-12/15"s or 35-12/15's. I might go to a larger diameter rim to clear future brake upgrades (say 16's or 17's). I will be adding a 4 " lift as well. What works best?

I run a 10" wide rim with a 4" back space inside of 33's.
Seems to work out really well.
It'll set your front tires to about 82" outside to outside though...just in case you intend on ever trailering it you'll need something at least 8ft wide.

VT, Thanks for your input. I'm not sure of what you mean when you say I'll need a trailer at least 8 feet wide??? I assume your rear is narrower than your front.

I haven't checked to see how much narrower the rear axle is compared to the front, but would it be worthwhile to have a different rear offset to make the rear as wide as the front? I'm thinking probably not, due to the spare tire not fitting one or the other.

Anybody running + sized rims (16's 17's)?

VT, now I know what you're saying. If I have to put it onto a trailer, the trailer will have to be 8 feet wide. At first I thought you were talking about pulling a trailer. I gotta get more rest....

Sorry Skid, I meant a 7ft wide trailer.
Yeah, I was talking about putting your truck "on" a trailer you'll need a deck width of atleast 7ft between the fenders if you run 10" rims with a 4" back space. Didn't try to be unclear, must of been early
