Shop for Scott

I'm seriously exploring a shop addition. We're on an acre but thee community/HOA doesn't allow detached buildings other than a garden shed. The shed is already full of parts for my Nova!

I have a big side load garage but with daily drivers, trashcans, snowblower, bikes and family stuff there's not much room for projects and nowhere for a lift, and no appetite for welding, grinding, and paint fumes, noise and debris. One project isn't even home as there's no room for it.

I'm looking at a 24' x 46' addition to the back of the garage at 90 degrees to the current structure. Would really like this to be bigger but I'm pushing the limits already. About half the length will overlap the current garage so you'll just see a two car garage door at the back of the driveway.

I want a lift so it will have 12' ceilings. Most likely will use a couple of Bigmax ceiling mounted gas heaters.

Thoughts and suggestions to make the most out of this?

Re: Shop for Scott

Greg -

Thanks! I think I can make that turn ok - that’s part of the reason I posted it asking for feedback. I really don’t have many options and if it gives me any issues I can get a set of wheel doilies.
