Deceleration/ squeeling noise?

whenever i decelerate or apply my brakes i get this squeeling or squeeking noise coming from the truck somewhere but i cannot figure out what it could be because my brakes make a different squeeking noise then the one i hear when i decelerate

well if it's not yer brakes the only other squealing noise i really know is belts, make a horrid high pitch squeel. that could be it.. wish i could help more...

Now onto the 86 CUCV M1009; K5 blazer with 6.2L diesel, corp 10 bolt axles, Detroit locker in the rear, trutrac front, 3.73 gears, 35" tires.

it aint belts it might be drum brakes in the rear or some ohter wierd thing cuz it only makes the squeeling noise when i decelerate

Hmm, yeah could be the rears. i didnt think drums had squeal ears (whatever you call em) but hey i could be wrong. Try cleaning off the drums a li'l bit and see if it helps, if not i dunno. sorry dude

under deceleration that sure sounds like belts...... but its hard to tell without hearing it
